I'm a Software Engineering Lead with 15+ years of experience building scalable products, including 5+ years leading high-performing remote engineering teams, and driving multiple companies from startup to acquisition. Passionate about empowering engineers, optimizing delivery, and turning complex challenges into elegant, secure, and user-focused solutions.

I've led cross-functional teams through the full SDLC, from architecture and development to deployment and SOC 2 / security compliance. Partnered with executives to define technical roadmaps, guide platforms into profitability and growth, resulting in multiple company acquisitions (2020, 2023, 2025).

I consider myself a hands-on technical leader with a background in PHP, Java, Typescript, AWS, MySQL. Experienced in Agile/Scrum, team scaling, performance reviews, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

Outside of my daily work, I build projects to continue learning and expanding my skills. I love working with others who do the same and who are passionate about their craft or ideas. Some of my proudest professional moments include getting my first company acquired (2020) and building a national therapist directory for over 30,000 mental health professionals (2023).

I'm currently building a TCG price tracker, learning game development using Godot Engine and spending quality time teaching pokemon names to my kids.
